What is bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, also known as BHRT?

Pellets are tiny, custom-compounded therapies for symptoms that stem from hormonal imbalances. The Biote Method may help keep a patient’s hormone levels consistent throughout the day. The pellet therapy that Biote trains on uses hormones that are bioidentical to those found in the human body.

Initial Consultation

The road to having better health starts with a simple Initial

consultation. First visit is 60-90 minutes long. We spend time

getting to know you, your health goals, most frustrating health

issues, family health history and other health issues. We will

discuss your expectations of therapy, the benefits of therapy,

and most importantly devise a health plan that individual to

you and your goals. 

Blood testing

Next we perform a comprehensive health panel blood test. We

can perform bloodwork in our office during the same visit, or

provide paperwork for you to take where you would like to have

your blood drawn and they will send us the results. 

Our lab has a 24-36 hour turnaround for your tests, provides a

custom, comprehensive panel for an affordable price. However,

we do not bill insurance for blood work. If you would like to bill

insurance for your lab work we can point you in the right

direction. This typically take a little longer to get results back to

us than the 24-36 hours.

Appointment for blood work review.

Before you leave your initial visit we will schedule an

appointment for you to return and review your blood work

results in person. We believe that you should have the

opportunity to discuss the results, ask questions, and

understand the results with a professional, not just get a quick

"its normal" type of answer. "Normal" results are not always the

same as "Optimal". We want to help you Optimize your

health, not just Normalize it.

Pellet Therapy

After your blood work is reviewed, we can begin BHRT that day!

Pellets can be inserted on the same visit as blood work review.

The procedure is minor, and only takes 15-20 minutes. Most

people can begin to feel the positive changes within 3-7 days

after pellet insertion, but the positive effects continue to appear

and accumulate for 24 months with regular usage.
